In the third quarter of 2025, the top music and podcast apps on the iOS platform in Denmark showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

DR LYD had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.5K and peaking at 4.3K by the end of September. The app also saw a rise in weekly active users, from 240K to over 330K.

Podimo: Podcasts & audiobooks experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a high of $248K mid-July and ending the quarter at approximately $146K. Downloads trended downwards, beginning at 2.9K and dropping to 1.7K, while active users increased slightly to 81K by the end of the quarter.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a steady revenue stream, hovering around $25 per week. Downloads varied, with a slight peak at 2.6K mid-September, and active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at about 376K.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts saw a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 1.6K and decreasing to 1.3K by the end of September. Active users decreased from 72K to around 64K, showing a downward trend throughout the quarter.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love had a modest revenue performance, peaking at $17.7K at the start of the quarter and closing at $15.6K. Downloads remained relatively stable around 1.1K, while active users saw an increase, rising from 18K to over 21K by the end of September.
